It\u2019s due to take place next summer, but the newly-revamped Club World Cup, which will feature 32 teams, limits when the showpiece event can take place.<\/p>\n<p>The 2022 instalment of the Finalissima \u2013 which was played at Wembley Stadium, and won 3-0 by Argentina \u2013 meant the the 2025 fixture was supposed to be played in South America. There was even a suggestion that it could happen at the newly-renovated Spotify Camp Nou, thus allowing a Lionel Messi vs Lamine Yamal match-up in Barcelona\u2019s home stadium.
